Shooting a rifle in the Philippines can be quite an expensive hobby. One way to solve that problem is to use caliber conversion kits to allow our rifles to shoot cheaper ammo. the CMMG .22LR conversion kit is one such solution. It is just unfortunate that our licenses are matched to the caliber of our firearms.

Ahh question lang pwede ba mag lagay ng digital night vision scope sa baril
Dati May German made na AR 15 pero 22 LR
Budget wise im I am one with your sentiments I also attempted to convert my AR the same way you did but somehow I realized being an advocate of responsible gun ownership and an active military offocer, its for the best that PNP-FEO did or should not allow such upgrade or modification since it will compromise ballistic information and create confusion during evidence collection. And in the event that a converted weapon was use to commit a crime or even during self defense this can become an alibi to avoid confiscation which the PNP wouldnt want to happen . I hope other civilian should understand and be grateful that the PNP allowed the civilian community to own high caliber weapons.Mabuhay tayong mga Pinoy responsible gun-owner!!!!!
I have the same CMMG conversion kit and it's very temperamental. I've tried various ammo through it and also tried it in different rifles and I would say it works 60-70% of the time. I am considering swapping some of the parts to make it a dedicated 22 LR bolt and assemble a dedicated rimfire rifle. The economy sucks right now so it will have to wait.
That is an excellent IDEA ! To switch to 22 caliber —-it saves money !!!! Question: can you switch to 22 MAGNUM ?
60p lang nung minsan ang 556. Sobrang mahal naman ngayon
