Continuing the series on everyday carry with the BEST everyday carry weapon light. The equipment shown and recommended was purchased at full price.
The light should be able to give you an edge during a high-risk encounter, not put you at risk. Without training you will fail to use the light or use it at an inappropriate time, possibly putting you at greater risk. Get high quality low-light training.
The weapon light is a supplement to the handheld, not a replacement for it. We cannot safely, legally, or morally point a gun at everything we need to see better.

While this is better than nothing it baffles me that police departments issue this for a duty light. Maybe for plain clothes roles but if it’s in a duty rig such as safariland 6000 series, Blackhawk T series, or alien gear rapid force you have nothing to lose with a full size full power light such as the x300 U/turbo or the TLR1 HL.
