Featurless with compensator and trigger hand pistol grip fish handle thing is the king of CA legal. Im just as good with mine as I was with my issued M4. Not ideal, but incredibly lethal if you have training.

Well for those of us that didn’t get normal mags during freedom week, I would go with the fixed mag option and practice like crazy to get real good at breaking and swapping out the 10 round mag. Second I really do like that Sig, not an AR, AR. However, it looms very expensive.

My current setup is a FightLite SCR and a Ruger Mini-14. My state (Illinois) doesn't allow "featureless" ARs so I had to find an effective Semi-Auto that was not an AR-15.

Thordsen stocks. Get to keep all your features because its no longer classified as an AR 15. No additional modifications needed. I Prefer the Gen 2 stocks they are lighter in weight. Solid stock, I've had them on all my weapons for 4 years now.
On your mag locked rifles are you able to open them enough to drop the msg with the BCG locked back?

I've never had issues with my Hellfighter pin + Hogue maglock combo. Just put some blue Locktite in the threads of the Hellfighter pin to muddy up the threads & give it friction and itll never unscrew by itself again. Problem solved.
