Out of the box this is one of the best AR15 rifles on the market and it’s made in Germany.

But, but have you tried a Knights Armament or LMT rifle? LOL
I am from Germany and i have a 16“ M5 and i can easily shoot a 0.5 MOA or even less group with my reloaded ammo. So far this has been an amazing firearm with no issues at all. The only thing, which i had to fix myself, was a litte bit of play between the upper and lower receiver, thank god the accu wedge exists.
What about Oberland arms?

I love the schmeiserr design but the fact that those ARs weight closer to piston ARs is bit surprising.
I agree, the best one is german, but i’ll stick to my H&K Mr223. However, I won the schmeisser charging handle displayed in the video and must admit that it works well to redirect gas overpressure when supressed, even if I can tune my gas system now I’ve installed an adjustable gas block from Waffen Burke.

I wouldn't exactly call them good, they're very expensive for what they are. They have issues I'd expect from the cheap Chinese AR15s.
They're fairly popular here in Switzerland in .223 and 9mm, so I've seen a lot of them at competitions and trainings.
Usually when there's an AR malfunctioning, it's a schmeisser. I personally know 3 people with schmeisser AR15s that have had nothing but trouble, in particular it's usually feeding issues with any ammunition and mag combo and undesired automatic fire.
I've seen it twice now that someone with a schmeisser AR got disqualified because it went automatic for a few shots. And mind you, they didn't use aftermarket triggers.
I'll take even an Aero or M&P15 over a schmeisser every single time.
Oh and by the way the three people i know that sent their rifles in, got them back still having the same issues. Great service.
I have tried and owned probably every german AR15, and Schmeisser is clearly not "the best". I think this video is paid advertisement. Aside from this rifle for free, he got extra money for it.

Parts like handguard, stock, pistolgrip comes from for sure not from Germany, maybe from China. And you can see it in this video, people buy a over 2000€ Ar and change parts.
I know from enough people who had problems with their Schmeisser guns. The customer service is good, but I would prefer a gun that don‘t need a customer service.
I would like to know has he paid for that rifle? What relationship does he have with Schmeisser or Waffen Schumacher in Germany. If other YouTubers make these videos like grand thumb, they talk about that. Just say‘n.

I build, I don't buy ARs, but what stood out to me is the ambi bolt catch. It's like the PDQ but much nicer looking, and that's what matters most.

I thought my LWRC DI had everything I could want but the S4F goes a step (actually several steps) beyond. That said, it's €2300 which puts it in the price range of a Sig Spear LT. I could add most of these missing features to my LWRC (€1600 estimated) and still come out ahead.
