Thank you.
Well done. Great video
Good video sir
Great video, I ended up buying the AR10 Vise from Creedmoor, in /amazon at the time of this writing is about $50.00 and Creedmoor sells it for $40.00. I wanted to check head space for my newly build aR10 in .308 then later for another upper in 6.5, the pins in my Fail Zero BCG seems to be pretty solid in there so did not wanted to take chances and got the vise, if you can spare $50.00 it is worth it.
Question for you, I disassembled my Areo Precision AR-10 bolt carrier and on the extractor it has a small spring and an even smaller spring inside it and 2 o-rings on it is that something new?? Thanks
I think there is a spring between my pin and the assembly. So, I inserted spring, then firing pin, then compress slightly and insert cotter pin (actually locking pin). Does that sound right?
Would a bad o ring cause double feeding on a new carrier group on a .308
Nicw job!.
Pretty good video. I could wish that you had mentioned what kind of brass you use in the vise to compress the ejector spring. And what kind of grease you use on the ejector spring.
May I know what do you called that red and white thingy on the table?
I think I put mine together wrong one time, it made the sealing rings really drag. Kept the gun from going into battery about half the time. What could cause that?
firing pin spring located? or not part of it? thought it was in channel of rear of bolt inside where the firing pin inserts. i believe it is there but not very big, but used to prevent it from slam firing
but what about the tiny extractor spring? You did not show how you put the extractor spring back!
Nice step by step instructions, thank you sir
Great video! Somebody should 3D print a jig to compress ejector for a 308 bolt 🕵🏻♂️
I look forward to more video's. I'm in the process of milling out an AR-15 and AR-10 lower.
Great step by step video 👍.
Clear and slow directions👍.
I do have to make one point… the notched rings at the rear,it is a myth that the notches need to be off-set,not necessary but I as everyone likes it to be so 👍😎🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸.
