  1. Great video. Nice review. But I am going stick to my SF wml lights. I have had way too many issues with streamlight lights over the years to even give them another chance – and their Cust Svc sucks balls. I have had countless TRL1/HL lights shit the bed — they really are not up to even mild use – let alone the task of hard use compared to the SF x300 family — Just not a fan of lights shitting the bed on a square range — so I am sticking with the big fish in the industry until they fail me.

On another note — I am not a big fan of flush wml on a semi auto gun — an x300 allows for muzzle stand off eliminating out of battery failures when going to gun with shitbag — 98% of all violent interactions with bad guys are within 3ft — and any advantage I can keep — I am keeping it.

But – I enjoy your content – so keep up the great videos.

  2. Wow very interesting about the RM1 head on the TLR7. Question about that, will it only work on the updated TLR7X because of the updated internals and dual fuel capability or will it also work on the TLR7A?

  3. 5,000 candela, just goofy… really wish we could get something around 30k candela in a smaller package than X300T, TLR1 or PL350. until then it’s hard to justify the extra holsters, and bulk on the pistol for these weak ass lights…

  4. My holster is for the TLR7A, is the TLR7X the same size/footprint? I have heard somewhere that it is the same exact light as the 7A just updated internally to run the rechargable battery.

  5. What's the purpose of a strobelight on a gun anyway? I understand that it can mess with your opponent's vision, but doesn't it also make it hard for you to see in low light conditions? I can understand the use of strobe on a handheld maglite or streamlight if you're in a hand-to-hand situation.
