Eotech, part of a huge conglomerate tied with the inside grift of governmental contracts issued optics to US servicemen with a (known problem to Eotech), thermal shift for over ten fvkng years. So, for the dude using his optic in warm weather had one zero. However, in colder climates such as at the top of a mountain in Afghanistan that same optic had a completely different zero.
Eotech and their little secret was exposed several years ago and were forced to pay civilian purchasers full retail for their optic.
Did they lose their government contracts??? Absolutely not!
How many dudes lost their lives because Eotech didn’t do the right thing when they knew they had an issue? Fvck that company and their products…

I agree, I’ve owned and used damn near every dot out there from T2, Comp M5, MRO, EOtech, etc. lm been a dedicate EOtech user for years now, let’s me shoot accurately from really weird positions, super crisp reticle and their magnifiers are the best in the game and they cost like $400 less than my comp m5 did 😂
maybe it’s just the camera angle but why is the gap between your magnifier and optic so large? in my experience having them spaced out like that can make it a little easier to occlude your sight picture. Is it just because of the eye relief?
Tell me eotech gives you free optics without saying eotech gives you free optics.

I might be in the minority but I much prefer to Holosun 510c over EOTech’s. I like the wider view through the optic as opposed to the EOTech’s. Plus they’re less expensive.

Eotech vudu lpvo is pretty bitchin also. Best lpvo ive used for inside of 25 yards. Im sure theres probably a better one for more money but it took my 90 days of layaway time to pay for this one lol. I did bend my throw dongle tho😢
Couple studies? There was only one study and the aimpoint t2 wasn’t far off. Also the study was done at 25 yards not 100. The eotech was the best One with The least amount of parallax though.

I got an EOtech with a magnifier on Unity mounts for doing some work on a truck. Best payment ever.
Idk aimpoint battery life is what keeps me going, I know my holds and can judge distance well enough to use it. Anything that is over 300 I’m not engaging with I’m beeting feet and getting out of there. My personal SOPs don’t need it
