  1. So, another great summary. Congrats and thank you. It is great to be an American 🇺🇸.
I have built a short barreled AR, setting it up for close quarters, under 100 yards, day/night. (Have other rifles for different purposes)
I am honing in on eotech green circle dot reticle. Thinking I can augment with 3x multiplier for longer range…impressed by the ruggedness, field of view, successful legacy of professional usage for my mission, etc.
    Thoughts?

  2. Man I’ve been buying Romeo red dots. I was just at the range and eat my 2 one. My buddies want me to go with the Aimpoint you picked. Might have to buy the bullet and do the aimpoint. Thanks for the video.

  3. What is it, especially with americans, that they tend to test stuff for what it is not intended for? If "you need a hammer, then buy a hammer " kind of situation.

You would not test a binocular shooting at it, you would not buy a bmw 7-series to offroad with, and you would not test the quality of a rifle, by ramming the barrel crown into a concrete wall or pry open a door with it 😅

  4. I'm amazed the Leupold Prismatic never got more attention. I absolutely love mine and use it on my Benelli M4 with slugs and 00buck. It has as close to 0 parallax as I can tell. It is illuminated and etched glass so it still works with dead batteries.

  5. A few years ago I bought two Trijicon red dots for my wife and I for competitive pistols.
They both stopped working after less than a magazine. Same failure: intermittent dot.
Trijicon was completely unhelpful: their customer service representative just kept repeating that their optics had a great reputation and were used by many police and military agencies.
Research on the internet revealed that the battery contacts tended to be loose and people were "shimming" the contacts.
On a $700 optic? You've got to be kidding.
Fortunately the people I bought this from had a good return policy. I sent them back and went with another brand. Never used them since.

  6. Aside from trijicon and aimpoint the rest are 💩. Aimpoints wear the crown in red dots and trjicon made the cut for magnified combat optics but there are just as good other options, but red dots? The swedes own it

  7. I had an Aimpoint Pro,I replaced it with a T2.The t2 is super light, tough enough to survive a drop test that killed the comp m5.I bought it in 2015 and never turn off in those 5 yrs.I have since changed the battery.

  8. I had a similar issue with the SPARC Solar, I had bought two of them. One has been bulletproof, the other I sent back because it ate batteries. In fact I also sent back the replacement as well and the third time was the charm. Love the form factor of open turrets like the MRO and solar backup. I trust them now that I’ve had them a while.

  9. I have 2 Aimpoint Comp ML2's. I have one on my deer shotgun…haven't hunted for 9 years…gort it out a few months ago just to check it out. I thought I had turned it off when I put it away, but I had only turned it to the lowest setting. It still worked on high, even though it had been on for 9 years. IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT!!

  10. Holosun HE515CT and PA 3x micro prism on my new builds, both are really damn good for the money. The 515CT packs a lot of goodness in a small 4oz package, and like a tank being a ipv8 rated titanium chassis, well worth the extra cost imo.
