Wow, didn't know that 9mm is that ineffective through a windsheild. My PDW is a 9mm. Guess I have to go 300 Blk.
I have wondered about using a 12-guage Shockwave with minishells slugs and buckshot. Slugs to break through the glass and buckshot for defense. Comments?
Recovering wingnut turned OTR trucker here. Occasionally I have to go places that are kinda shady. It's mainly when I shut down for the day that there's any risk to me. My truck gun (which I'm not supposed to have per company rules) is a PSA 10.3" 5.56 AR pistol with a Holosun green dot, a Sightmark light/laser combo and 30rd mags. It's nothing fancy like you pros are used to, but it's an economical setup. I also keep a Glock 41 around. Hopefully, I'll never need them.
I like the gun and the bag. However, it is in no way a criticism, but I have a different outlook on the optics. Like the 3 of 7 Project, I only run iron sights and a light for a truck gun. Enlisting at 17 in 1972, I am a little more old school. I was shooting a long time before optics on an M-16 /AR-15.
youre running short upper and a m4 style and length buffer system. why not run and longer barrel and shorter buffer system that gives you better velocities and terminal balistics in the same package
how much are they paying you?
AK in all situations for the win.
You better never ever have to run to your truck to get a firearm and it not be a rifle!
Ghostmatic with all yo matics! I build 300 blackouts
I love seeing all the "Tactical Timmy's " advertising on their vehicle's with military and firearm stickers. I use a kids bag 🎒 that sits next to a diaper bag- kicker Is that I have no kids, no stickers, or my military status on my license plate.
Be as discrete as possible.
Just received my Raid 2.0 bag from Nomadic Research… I fucking love this bag! Takes my Spear LT 9" 300BLK with a 30round mag no problem whatsoever. Two spare 30's, Magpul sling, a 16" laptop, power charger and mouse plus more and it is incredibly comfortable to wear with the weight distributed nicely with good shoulder straps that have adjustable height chest straps so you can move the chest strap up or down according to what is most comfortable for you. Extremely nice bag all around!
drive an FJ screw jeeps
I really love that Law Tactical Folding Stock adapter. Great setup.
You know for anyone outside of the profession , what's the point of owning all this stuff? I could just grab a bag from Walmart and keep the bug punch open if I want to have it in my car.
I use a regular run of the mill non descript back pack. No identifiers not patches no Molle no camo. Make sure you bag is very robust (strong material) and has good zippers.
check out the 511 lv 16, the best carry bag ever made
You should invite Kyle Rittenhouse to talk about weapon use in urban combat. Show you support him.
What about a pistol caliber carbine? like the CMMG banshee?
Some good points but overall "operator" content. I'm surprised and actually scared that most of the commenters believe in this.
Right now im building a 6.5 grendel pistol. 😅
ive built a 300bo and its a great pistol round
how bout a .45 cal pistol vs glass from car?
I use an Alexander Arms 11.5" 6.5 Grendel. I have & use short 300BO setups. Why 300?
I live in the city, st.Louis to be exact. Leaving a gun of any type in your car is basically saying you don’t want that gun any more. Thief’s run rampant out here
Hey Brother. Great video. Got me to subscribe and like. Lots of good info. Do you have the build specs for that pistol? That's a great build, and I know you have a good reason for everything on it.
Truck gun…..
Who besides large land owners would need a "truck gun"
“I don’t think I would use it for that, because I carried my pistol on my person” 💪🏽💪🏽
Everything about truck guns. Then proceeds to go in depth about a carry bag. Titles a little misleading.
Do I need a sbr stamp with the folding stock??
Nuts people listen to this clown
I wish MP still made those straight 20s.
Troy PDW 5.56 7.5" pistol is My Coach Gun …..
300 Blk really waznt Out
N
About @ that time woulda went that route , but still ….. BadAss lil' Fight Stopper
Stay Hard
Now do a video of why it’s unnecessary and impractical for 98% of civilians to have a “truck gun” just going about their day to day
I am with ya on the .300 BLK, but, availability IS an issue. I have a dedicated 8" AR 9mm pistol for my car gun. It takes Glock mags (my daily carry pistol). Testing shows that I get 1450 fps on my 124 gr. rounds. That will do for the time being till I can unass the rig and use it for cover. Then I am fine. I punches thru windshields and doors just fine and testing shows that at 10-15 yards, does not deflect as much as one might think (4-5 inches low thru the front glass from the driver seat). If .300 was more available, I would jump on it! But, for me, not a reliable option.
I have virtually the same setup outside of the optic and the bag.
With that said, I never leave any firearm in a vehicle. Doing so is a bad idea and is an easy way for a gun to end up in the hands of a criminal and out on the streets.
Any firearms stolen out of vehicles also leads to anti-gunners having another reason to try and attack our 2A rights.
Is the sleeve available to be purchased separately???
Hells yeah brother, FINALLY an honest tried and true set up that has some thought behind it. Most other videos are just showing off the $10k kit stuck in a bag that was given to them for clicks.. This setup seems more realistic and attainable for most folks just trying to make it home. Not that overpriced gear is a problem just the reasoning from the folks pushing it there is. Violence of action wins fights, if that means me bringing a rifle to a knife fight then yep i win
"Everything about get yourself thrown in jail guns" Fixed it for you.
Can't imagine how loud that would be shooting from inside the vehicle. Would a flash can possibly mitigate some of that conclusive blast?
what about the 5.7 round for a pistol? will that hit target through window?
Keep your pistol and use your pistol until you can deploy that, in most scenarios in today’s environment I don’t see how you’ll have time to, so I say keep both and train, train, train
This whole thing feel a lot like an ad my guy. Shill.
How can I purchase this weapon, new. to all this and still learning!
3:32 I've changed my mind.
I wish there was mid-size family sedan gun.
i wouldnt call 150K paychecks "serving"
My buddy gave me a 7.5" bca & it won't zero at 30 to 50yrd. It's a POS. My 16" drives nails but if I take any of my Optics off my other guns & shoot that loud ass 7.5?
Won't hit the side of a barn but, I live in Texas & carry my weapons in a rack behind my seat or my pistol is on me.
What barrel is this?
So your friend owns a company that makes this bag and you couldn't even remember the name of the company? You had to read the tag. Clearly a sponsor and that story was completely fabricated.
