was trying to Zero my rifle today, then i noticed ny base mount was loose, fml, Note to self before trying zero your rifle scope make sure the mounts and everything else is tight and locked on.🤦🏻♂️😂 my deam POI kept slighty changing and i nocticed after a few rounds
what happened to the LHT? Did you switch it for the HS?
Wait, if the hole was bottom right wouldnt i bring the scope down and to the right??
Side note: what can are you using on that 6.5?
What is the best distance for sighting an air rifle scope
Whats the stand called? I mean the proper name of the thing so i can order it
The reticle moving the opposite direction is normal?
The adjustments should be made one at a time either elevation or windage and never over correct there can be backlash in the mechanics of the scope the best is just to use a laser at home for bore sighting
Vortex is bad ass I love there scopes and there company there warranty is probably the best in the industry just one thing I like to see more of is made in America fuck China communist bastards change your ways vortex or maybe you will go out of business next
Greta video…what are your sentiments on the performance of the 6.5 creedmoor for hunting purposes? Thanks!
how far was the target ?
😠 Promo SM
Which optic is that used in this video?
This means to zeroing only works for shooters who have some marksmanship knowledge and skill. Most shooters don’t know an MOA from a mil from a BDC from a BSZ.
Not sighting related. Why didn't the casing come out when you opened the bolt? You had to reach in and remove it all 3 shots😊?
Excellent video! #vortexnation
This is brilliant! I wish it was this easy for pistol optics
Great if the gun stay put after the shot, if it kicks hard and moves then what do you do?
HI, Where can I get and buy this paper?
Guarantee, they left out part that it was bore sighted before going to the range
How many yards was this?
Why are you double-tapping with the bolt on loading(chambering)?
What distance were you zeroing?
Question, why didn't it work the first time? If it was 4.5 moa high snd one moa left and those are the adjustments you made on the scope. Why didn't it work the first time? I'm a little confused by that.
This is good. If you have a dead rest, you take one shot, place crosshairs on the impact location, then adjust your height and windage until your crosshairs are aligned with the bullseye.
Don't do it this way in the video unless your rifle is a proven 1/4 moa gun. Otherwise, you will be chasing the groups all over the paper. Shoot once, move your reticle to the bullet hole then shoot at least 3 rounds. Adjust for the final time after that. One more round shot but better results for the common shooter.
This method assumes that HIS form/function is correct and the same every time. I've seen guys zero this way and chase their rounds all over the paper because THEY are different on each round.
great standard method with no real tricks needed! A novice shooter might want to get a 1" grid target to easily count moA without having to understand their actual MOA sustentions on their reticle or if they don't have a moa or BDC reticle
Definitely used way more ammo sighting in my AR this weekend…
Sickkkk
Nice setup for zeroing a scope.
awesome video
🙂
GREAT tip's, it takes time to set a scope, nice video, thanks..
Love it
Useful information
I use a bore laser.
The key is knowing how to use your reticle
