we were at that 2012 Nikon Spot On Challenge shooting a 50 BMG with a Nikon Monarch X 4-16×50. The target was a steel gong target at 600 yards. The Monarch X took over 700 rounds out of that 50 cal and was still dead on accurate showing that Nikon can handle the biggest recoil out there.
