Just take a spare front pin and put it through the opposite way (like the wheeler) to capture the detent, then slide your new one in. They're making $ off of dumb dumbs.

You can get a pin like that in any hardware store for super cheap. I forget what its called but the only difference is it has multiple holes in a line.
