No adapter for attaching Caldwell XLA Bipod on Ruger Mini-14… A simple solutoin is to add a sling swivel stud.

In your video it is not explained how to fix the 2 central pins by turning the wheel and pulling the ring of the pibod.
This is the most important aspect because if the 2 pins to which the other attachments supplied are attached are not well fixed, then the rifle will not remain firm.
It would be nice to see it, with more light.
By now, have you changed the stud out for a Harris #2 swivel adapter? I think the #2 Harris would give much more stability account the steel backing plate? Just wondering. I am going to use the Harris #2.

Now I know how to remove and re-fit the bi-pod to a rifle I purchased with one fitted!
