Any citizen arguing against the 2nd Amendment is treasonous to the United States. We've had guns en masse since long before our country was formalized with the Constitution and up until now. Only in fairly recent history has that fact been an "issue". It isn't the guns. No amount of written laws have "fixed" it. Keeping guns away from crazy people would help a lot. Keeping guns away from the common non-criminal person is like saying, "Hey all you violent criminals, we just disarmed all your potential victims." The only reason a government disarms its people is to render its people defenseless to oppression. History repeats itself.
