A 7.62×39 bullet 100 yards out is packing more energy than 5.56 is at the muzzle. There is a reason 7.62×39 is know globally. It stops everything.

Please do a test of a bed liner coated cinder block filled with rubber mulch in one hole and jagged rocks/sand in the other hole, shot long way.
I think that would make for a fantastic bunker wall.

The added mass and energy of the 7.62 gives it a huge advantage in this test 123gr projectile at 2300 FPS is 1450 ftlbs of energy vs 5.56 55gr at 3000 fps only 1095 ftlbs of energy.

It would be interesting to see a test using plywood on the front, back and sides of the concrete (and maybe also a sand version). Similar to how a wall of a safe room might be constructed. I am thinking the plywood would let the bullet through, but would keep the concrete chunks together inside, turning it to gravel and sand, which would still be pretty effective. Cool video.

Good video, and impressive shooting with the irons. It would be cool to see a test of a cinder block wall filled with concrete vs a cinder wall filled with sand. Maybe throw something else affordable in the mix as well? I watched your other wall penetration test where the sand did really well…

Where did the rear sight on the BCM go man?

I still highly recommend the attero arms bravo mount for putting a red dot on that ak. Its an absolutely stellar system and uses the standard t1/h1 footprint. I put a holosun on mine and it just rocks.
