None of this is true at all. People using this were pogues and pretenders, trying to look like operators. Real troops were just using regular Acogs or taking the better option of an AimPoint Patrol Rifle Optic and a 3x magnifier flip scope, usually a Vortex VMX 3 x magnifier.
Where and when was this used? How is having an eotech reticle superimposed over an ACOG reticle better than just using the ACOG by itself? I’m struggling to see how this could make sense in any situation at all.
