To answer the main question I enjoyed this video and would love to see more, but then again I always do lol. I’ve run dots and prism optics for a hot minute. Either 3x or 5x. Just got my first lpvo, and sig tango msr 1–6. I really like it but haven’t got to shoot it yet. I see myself using that on a deer rifle but not an ar for a few reasons. It’s a little too big for me personally and fast eye relief isnt the best. So the dot or prism works for that. While hunting with a bolt gun I don’t need fast eye relief so I can swing it. Idl just my personal thoughts. I’ve never tried the magnified dot, seems silly heavy and bulky though
Love your videos! Your “low ready” is basically high ready bout to kick down a door though 😅 not being a hater, just think the times would be very different if you were actually at a LOW position instead of basically behind the optic already.
Great video. I have a simple rifle with just a Romeo 5 red dot. And a nicer rifle with a PA LPVO. I feel like I’ve made some good choices. 👍
We know you made this video so you could play with your rifle.
At least you weren't playing with your gun.
Based on my biased opinion due my experience I am all about the trijicon acog.
I have been debating replacing the 3.5x led acog for the 1-8x vcog on my LMT .308
I don't mind the acog on a 556 but it's easy to get got by it with a 308 lol
I really like the Precision Arms 3x scope; small (tiny?!), light and inexpensive, it should slide into the same niche as the ACOG, but at a fraction of the price.
If you had to have one for the rest of your life, LPVO is probably the best option.
Love my ACOG and EXPS equally.
You should provide links in the description to your website for the sale of these items 😁👍
All great choices but damn I can’t afford any of them. That VCOG is amazing but at $3000, never going to happen.
Thank you looking for a sight for my AR.
Jarhead doin jarhead sh*t while flexing that LMT gawddamn rah
Would love to see the acog with an RMR
Great video, I really wish you had done 1x on the LPVO. I love my EOTech but I am really looking at buying a LPVO and trying to figure out is it worth it vest the holo which this video seems to suggest no.
What optics would you recommend for bolt action rifle chambered in 30-06 and up?
what is the name of the iron sight?
Great stuff Bro!! what would u put on a 16" AR15?
Great video. Gives me some ideas for drills I can run. Did you forget to do the movement drill with the LPVO – or did I miss it?
Can’t fool me the green eotech is not a red dot.
And the Acog might be the most proven optic on the planet but I’m willing to bet Holosun 400 series is going to be more proven here in the near future, I think even the Estonians adopted a Holosun for their new LMT rifles which makes sense to me $3000 rifle $400 optic.
And most importantly I don’t believe I’ve seen an Acog mounted on and Lewis gun I have seen a Holosun on one.
Dear Classic Firearms Staff. Please do an episode on you guys competing in a local centerfire PRS match or Sniper Style DMR match shooting out to 1000 yards or so. Granted, it’s not your usual channel material of which model AR15 is the best, but it would be cool to see you guys push your marksmanship abilities to the limit.
Why you choose PISTON over DI?
I think Clint got a promotion in CF and that's why we aren't seeing him quite as much
Big fan of prism scopes here. 4X on a 9mm rifle and a .22lr. So much fun.
ACOG + Red dot is an option as well. Trijicon makes a version where you can mount an RMR pistol optic. Throw a trijicon SRO or that new HD on there.
Under 600 meters red dot/ magnifier are faster, over 600 meters LPVO with offset red dot. 💅🏻
EOTECH with the magnifier should take the win.
Idk if there is a best i just picked what best fits my idea of how and where id be using my firearm…if that makes sense
