The Sig Sauer MCX-Spear LT is Sig Sauers light weight version of what I call their anti-AR platform. It has the residue of an AR15 while being it’s own platform.

The Sig Sauer MCX-Spear LT or Spear Light is Sig Sauers latest generation of their MCX line.

The Sig Sauer MCX-Spear LT is what I like to call the Anti-AR because it manages to have it’s own identity while still having the smell of an AR-15, which is just a long way of saying it feels the same and different at the same time.

I go over how it looks, what is it, what are it’s features, how does it shoot, how does it feel, who is it for, and MORE!

  1. Awesome review but FYI the SIG TREAD M400 trigger on the MCX Spear LT is actually a two-stage trigger, not single stage… the first stage is just very short so it can be confusing 🤷‍♂️

  2. Seems interesting, the price and front heavyness are a concern though, when i look at rifles im looking not just for precision but ability to get that accuracy over a long duration of use, if its going to tire me out cause the fronts too heavy than thats a deal breaker for sure.
