Caldwell Product Details and Info:
Simply put, the Caldwell AR Mag Charger™ revolutionizes the way ammo is handled and loaded into AR-15 magazines. It is designed to accept 50 loaded rounds directly from any common 50 round ammo manufacturer box or from aftermarket 50 round plastic storage boxes. Simply align bullet tips and dump a box of ammo into the Mag Charger™. The ammo is automatically aligned without touching a single round. Once filled with ammo, insert any AR magazine into the Mag Charger just as you would into a rifle. Then actuate the plunger back and forth loading 5 rounds per stroke as the spring loaded ammo carrier automatically advances aligning the next five rounds until magazine is fully loaded. The entire process of filling the Mag Charger with ammo and loading all 50 rounds into two magazines takes less than 15 seconds! An Ammo Transfer Tray is included to invert ammo that is positioned in boxes with the bullet tips oriented down or to stage bulk ammo for dumping into Mag Charger. Highly durable Polycarbonate construction, compatible with .223, 5.56 and .204 ammo.
Why didn't you just drop straight into the Caldwell?
You guys are doing it back asswards.
Why are both of you wasting time to start with putting the shells in the shell holder to then dump them into the Caldwell TAC-30 loader?
I just got my TAC-30 today and its a lot more efficient to just hold the loader on a small angle so the shells stay slid evenly to one side, and then grab the shells to load them directly into the TAC-30
Use it the correct way straight from the box into the loader. Not individually loading first. Did you bother to even read the instructions or anything?
The rounds are supposed to go from a 50 round box directly into the Caldwell. Imagine how much faster if you did it the correct way?
try Mag Pump
Couldn't you just load the tray of the caldwell straight from a 50rnd box? Instead of having to load each individual round into the tray? Sans that, load directly into the caldwell?
Well why don’t y’all try loading straight directly into the charger tray that will serve you 10-15 sec
Hope I get to know how much faster that was
Not sure if the extra money is worth the bigger one seeing this lol
If you take the ammo out of a 50rnd box, the cadwell is done in 5s…. bad comparison!
Maglula is as fast and portable. Why does the Caldwell only load 50 and it is bulky. I have both and only my Maglula in my range bag. If you are preloading then there are tons of options. If you are preloading many mags consider a higher capacity loader.
I bought one of them Caldwell
Maglula
Mag for the win. Less money, less complicated and susceptible to breaking, and way more portable.
