Having used both “Cheap” and “Mid- Tier” bipods for long range shooting and competitions, I compare both the Caldwell XLA bipod (Originally bought for $25) and the Harris S-BRM bipod. (Bought for $125)

caldwell for 22 lr or 17hmr .. light duty ar-15 .. harris for serious shooting
Great video. 👍
Too stiff not good
My Caldwell just broke at the welds after a good 8ish years of use, just bought a harris to replace it
Trying to get the 9-13inch off either Amazon or the Harris website, man it's confusing because they're both showing two different types of bipods in their pictures and it's like what the hell?
Does Harris have the swivel mount? Instead of picatinny?
Harris is quality. Will last a life time.
Funny, I paid about $35 for my first Harris, about 30 years ago. Yes, it was worth every penny.
Yes…
Do a Harris vs magpul
Did you get the Harris with Pic Rail mount for $125? I have the Caldwell and will use it for hunting season next yr. I don't like the adjustment mount on it.
Before watching the video: in my experience the Caldwell is just fine for a hunting rifle or something that you don't depend on or shoot in much quantity at one time. Biggest issue I had with my Caldwells was always the screw coming lose after more than 5 shots or so on any rifle larger than .223. Can't wait to see what your finding are.
