Anyone have experience fitting a "13 inch" BCM MCMR handguard over a 13.9" barrel? Reason I ask is because the MCMR measures 13.4 at the very end on the sides of the handguard and I'm wondering if there is clearance to tighten a surefire brake down & pin and weld it before buying these items….could always go 14.5" with that handguard if I need to but the barrel manufacturer & their profile I want to go with has them out of stock in 14.5" and 16", and only available on backorder for 13.9" but i'll take it if the barrel and handguard combo will work.
I use MCMR on other builds and love them, i'd prefer to use one if at all possible to mount a few things in the exact same locations on each AR.
I've always liked that with the surefire pressure pads you could easy offset the pad instead of running it directly at the 12 o'clock position. I really wish streamlight would redesign their pressure pads or atleast come out with a pad that has the same surefire footprint. 3 of the 4 rifles I have white light on have the streamlight hlx series, the 4th has cloud defensive rein. WML's seem to become more advanced by the year now which is great. Back whenever I first started attaching WML's to pistols and rifles we all had the 100 lumen surefires which at the time were revolutionary compared to what was currently available at the time.
Your rifles are nice but you have so much shit on it. What the hell do you need a flashlight on there for so they can see where to aim? You want to operate in the dark. I can’t imagine how heavy those rifles are just having a LPV hoe like that more tax is heavy with a flashlight in the forward grip the hoodie need a foreign grip for military use them to smash faces in. Very nice rifles with very good components but they look ridiculous with all that stuff on there kind of looks like Pee-wee Herman’s bicycle. Got a couple mirrors on there a couple of Spinney things catch the wind a little playing cards in between spokes so you can pretend like it’s a motorcycle little sidesaddle so you can put your peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in for school
Just curious when you refer to zero you are talking about the laser zeroing not the optic? I’m interested in the Midwest industry one but want my optics to hold good zero is all I mean
Ehi man! I have a question: I own a Troy alpha (14”5, overall length 16”) carabine and I was interested in buying a MI 14” hand guard. Is it 14” better than 13”5 or 12.6”? Thank you!!!
How much do those rifles weigh? Jeez. I think at some point it just become imitation instead of building a rifle for a practical purpose that YOU would need it for.
Whats the name (or link if possible)of the centurion rail system you have? My rifle is fairly naked at the moment with only a red dot and sling. Im hopeing to add a solid rail, surefire light, and forward grip and ill be good😂.
Also, what surefire light did you mention reaching out 200+ yards? I would like to purchase that one.
Which one would you say has the most solid lockup on the rail to barrel nut? I have a midwest mlok on a 16" barrel and if I squeeze the rail with my palm against and 3 fingers on the barrel, the rail flexes more than I'd like it too. Interested to see if the others may do that also. It's a pretty normal thing, but I'd like to find a rail/ barrel but system that doesn't move as much under tension. Thanks!

The Midwest industries seems pretty solid to me I’ve got one almost identical and I trust it to hold zero but great video 👍🏼
God Bless
Question, I have a free float handguar at the moment but want to change it. All I have to do is take the old one off and slide tge mew one in?
Do I have yo take into consideration on how the secure to the receiver or something? Or they are supposed to be universal?
What surefire model is that and pressure pad setup on the first rifle please?

Are those rail covers the black or the stealth gray option on the Midwest Industries?
How slim does the centurion rail feel compared to the other rails?

Nice review
