It may have been my video you're referencing where I used gorilla tape (3 layers) to shim the previous version of CMMG mags. I found that without the tape/shim and because of the slop that it allowed the mag to shift forward and actually change the angle of the feed lips. In your case it sounds like the bolt may be passing over the round and not striping it off because the angle of the round. In my case the bolt would strip off the round, but it was catching the top edge of the chamber because of the angle and causing a jam. I do have one of the current versions mags but haven't shimmed it yet.
How much boss
Is just that 30 creates too much tension. The easiest way I load 23 rounds into and works flawless. Thanks for the tip 👍. I will try that one. Bro sells those easy loaders. Good idea. The kit accept the smith and wesson mp22. Those magazines are very easy to load but they doesn't lock back.
What kit is this? Your mags look like the Magpul PMAGS, mines looks like the metal M4 magazine. I have the CMMG 22LR AR conversion kit as well.
