AKs used to be great because they were cheap and so was the ammo. $80/1080rd case of 5.45. $120/1000rd case of 762. Now people want stupid money for them. Ammo is more expensive than 5.56. Buying one now is a joke. Theyre for those people that are too hip to run an AR, they need to express their individuality by running something different.
