Notice the difference in parallax (how much the dot moves off-target with variable eye placement) between a $35 airsoft-grade red dot and a $60 actual entry-level red dot (Bushnell TRS-25). The dot quality on the $60 optic is also noticeably better, but does not translate well on video.
Why might parallax matter in airsoft? Target difficulty is not limited to distant targets. Small, partially exposed, and moving targets are all examples of higher difficulty targets where having a precise and consistently-located reticle will help you aim. Parallax also matters when you can’t get a perfectly centered sight picture through your optic, such as with bulky face/eye protection, when shooting from an awkward position or when the stock is shouldered improperly.
Why bother with gear that works against you when you can do a lot better for only $30 more?

So what you're saying, is to grace a Daniel Defense AR with the shittiest airsoft optic possible, got it.
What’s the “budget grade” optic shown here?
Me who rocks a Primary Arms SLx 1x Microprism: (yeah it was a nasty pinch to my wallet but it works like a charm)
This song is becoming the next rick roll so fucking annoying
One thing I will say in my arrogance, if you can successfully zero a cheap $60 knock off optic, you’ll have no trouble zeroing the real deal once you save up
It’s a reflex sight. It’s going to look the same. They shoot completely different rounds n shit so the zeroing isn’t the same. That’s like trying to compare a peq-15 to a red laser you bought at dollar general ofc they both work but they aren’t the same
What brand do you go for actual budget grade? And what’s the cost?
How accurate is air soft in MOA?
Why does the first 1 look like the GT optic that comes w the SW M&P Sport
What is the name of the second reddot?
I would 100% use a real optic or gbb or anybother simulard recoil system because airsoft optics break easy and dont hold up to any sort of recoil even on a .22lr and yes thats what a gbbr, bolt, and ngsw feel like in terms or recoil. yes i know you can see where they are going but its faster just to use your sights and in a gbbr you dont have the luxurary to spam the trigger unless you have a drum or an aeg mag conversion which requires you to have an air tank. At for a regular aeg, it will last far longer than anything else for if you play in adverse conditions like the winter or rainy season because inclines are slippery when they are muddy, they can fog, and moisture can get in. Also the flex.
How is the exact name for the first one
Maby its that I'm just getting into airsoft but I don't see a difference
It has a good fov
How does that work? Just curious
Best real steel dot for airside is vortex imo, unlimited life warranty regardless of how it broke.
What size moa is that dot
A very important point is that the actual optic will hold a zero out for a good few hundred meters reliably, while the airsoft optic will not. Really only important with real guns.
