The Mk47 vs AK-47

im in California and can't have suppressor, would the traditional AK be a better option to not get gas in my face? or is it minimal difference with the mk47?

While most of us would prefer a longer stroke, AK47s definitely have a SHORT-stroke piston system 😉

In comparison to the “traditional” AK, how does the MK and other AR47’s like eating steel cased ammo??? Will the MK’s extract/reload ability falter a bit like most AR’s with steel ammo.

I personally love the idea of the Mutant. It's why so many people gravitate to AR platforms in .300, 6.5 creedmoor, etc. To see an AR platform and BCG that fits the most globally ubiquitous caliber is "chef's kiss". The Mutant is my next purchase, unless I find a REALLY good deal on the Galil Gen 2 ACE.

Have both, love them. Ton of fun to shoot

There's less recoil in that MK because the muzzle that is attached already

I have the PSA KS-47, and I love it, but I would like to see the comparison between that and the CMMG Mk47 because it seems great, and I might add it to my collection…. The design is definitely more sexier than the PSA KS-47, but hummm ????

I have the MK47 and it is butter smooth to fire. I enjoyed my 556 AR and my SKS, but I never use them anymore because I love the MK so much.

PTR-32 is one nice option

I have the pws diablo which I LOVE. But I want a 16”. Been trying to decide between cmmg mk47 and sig spear 7.62×39. Would love to see a video comparing / contrasting the two

My Ks47 runs like a dream just short of 600 rounds hasn’t jammed and got it for 999.00 flat come on and it’s a nice “wow” piece my friends get a kick out of

Very misleading saying ak's are difficult to suppress. Swap muzzle device, retained by detent, keymo muzzle device made by many manufacturers installs very quick and easy. No shims no rockset required on md.

A major drawback to the AK platform for ME is because I am a lefty. It is NOT "lefty friendly"!

It's an AR 10 which accepts ak mags. That's literally it. My dream design which will be out. Is a long stroke, ar looking and creed more shooting gun. The FN licc.

I got the AK103 with full Mlok handguard and pic rail dust cover and I gotta say, I love shooting that thing more than anything else in my collection, I’ll see if that changes when I put together my 5.56 JAKL

Thought i was a woman. But now im thnking im an AK47. I also use the long stroke. If i dont use my supressor system the ejection can get all up in the face.

Okay, I used to like Kaiya…until that last comment to! LOL! Personally, I enjoy both AK and AR platforms, I just enjoy the traditional feeling rifles a tad bit more.

What i would love to see is a comparison between the Ar-Ak hybrids.
Cmmg Mk47 vs PSA KS47 vs Faxon Arak21 vs Galil ace gen2.

No wood, no cleaning rod, NEIT, Not AK.

The only reason to get something that's not a AKM would be a bolt hold open while still foldable… zero holding rails are nothing exotic in the AK world.

Very nice video, i think that the MK47 it's an absolutely intresting and good rifle, by the way i still prefere the "classic" AKM but the modernized and improved version. And also never forget the "Proven and Reliable Galil ACE2" that can be also chambered in 7.62×39 and its mechanism is more similar to the AKM.
