I'd like to buy one but it looks like nobody's done a review on it. I'm worried about the little… bungy cord? that holds the lid in place. I bought a Sidewinder a few years ago, and the cable held in by a brass nut stripped out of the ABS plastic immediately. While I love the look, function, and feel of the sidewinder, the battery hatch latch engineering was lacking. I don't want a repeat.
Awesome idea from StreamLight! Does anyone have one of these units? I'm just wondering if it lives up to the claims made by this guy?
