A Florida homeowner armed with an AR-15 rifle opened fire on a pool cleaner in the evening hours of June 15. Fifty-seven-year-old Bradley Hocevar assumed 33-year-old Karl Polek, who regularly cleaned his pool, was an intruder when he grabbed his rifle and unloaded 30 rounds through his sliding glass door. Polek was not hit with the barrage of bullets but rather glass and shrapnel, causing minor injuries. The Law&Crime Network’s Sierra Gillespie breaks down why Hocevar will not face charges for the shooting. Read more on this story:

  1. Who knows, but I'd wager he wanted to make sure he cleaned their pools as expected, maybe too trusting they'd know it's him. I'd guess he had no idea what he was firing at or if a threat was present considering he mag dumped 30 rounds over THAT much time. There's so much negligence here, why 9pm… Feel so bad for the families.

  2. Its Florida , what did you expect normal people with normal reactions ? Pool guy should have called 1st !
The AR 15 wielding husband acting like Stallone in " 1st Blood " !

  3. Too bad there are homeless people using the bathroom in San Francisco. You gotta stand your ground I guess. Smdh 😤 This dude at the press conference 😂So ridiculous! Those homeowners are really wild especially the husband. Not very bright either. Wow.

  4. Irresponsible gun owner. There’s really nothing more to it. No matter how you look at it, it’s hard to put yourself in the homeowners shoes and possibly think at any point that your life was in any sort of tangible danger. Especially enough to even brandish a weapon.

  5. Not charged ? thankfully he didint murder the pool cleaner. tho why was he there sooo late without calling or telling them.
still zero charges seems wild but whatever looks like they are wealthy soooo i wonder why.
bro why the 911 call taker have to ask how much the guy weighs. oh ya lemme go weigh the man first wtf.

im no expert but i dont think your allowed to just gun someone down for simply being on your property.

  6. I know it's the 'American way' I just can't fathom shooting someone in my yard..It could be a person with dementia, or someone intoxicated, the thought that everyone has nefarious intentions towards you is a sad way to live.
