Took me a couple years to finally understand why quad rails are the best.
What are you using for bait, to bring in the fish before you shoot them?
I'd wager the HM defense gas block is stronger. Lol
Do you recommend matched pairs or mixed lower/uppers for newbs.
If you are smart and patient, you can build/assemble a good rifle that will outlive you (for 99% of owners) and exceed many of the features and capabilities of a military issue rifle without going with the bottom tier rifles that might have issues in the long term.
A little off topic but, I'm interested in the Dan Wesson dwx compact. Any videos in the future for this pistol ?
I have that same Stag Arms rifle, I am impressed with the feel, accuracy and quality of the gun. It doesn’t have a hammer forged barrel or QD locks built in like some of the more premium guns, but the stock trigger is great, it’s an ambi setup that has an aero precision charging handle and great BCG as well. Very impressive piece, feels so light and the recoil impulse is very light as well.
Here's my buyers guide. A PSA lower, a Stoner complete upper from Midway and a Vortex 1-8×24 w/Vortex cantilever mount. All for $640.
anyone know what flashlight mount the surefire g2 is sitting in at 02:40 ?
I only just got into the ar universe last year. Better late than never I guess. But I now know what AR-15 truly stands for. America's Rifle – buy 1 and you'll want 5 more. Spent countless hours of researching and way too much money on my first build but I love it and im enjoying your vids, Mike. Btw…did you put an olight on a radian model 1? Cmon man lol
7075 isn’t just a little stronger than 6061, it’s WAY Stronger, almost as strong as mild steel.
Also Rocksett over high temp thread lockers, Rocksett will still be there when the gas tube has melted from stupid crazy high rates of sustained fire (machine gun land) where thread locker will fail at something like 600-800*F. Rocksett I seem to recall is good to over 2000*F.
Thanks for the video 👍
QUAD RAIL 4 EVEA! cause it just works, stronger (the tail it’s self), needs no adapters, and generally pushes the hand out a little more from the barrel which helps when firing a lot and not having to use gloves just to hold the rifle with those slim narrow M-Lok slots.
Midwest Industries has a nice dehorned (smother) quad rail that doesn’t chew up your clothes and hands, but offers great grip.
Great info!
What a view! Background and firearms!!
You Have the Right… NOT in the Governments Blue Gestapo Police State! The Government Enforcers, ATF, FBI, IRS, etc. are coming for you!
You have the "Right" until the Government takes it Away! We call that a "Privilege" granted by your Ruling Masters to suit their desires not your needs or rights!
The freedoms we forfeit today are the freedoms our children will never know tomorrow. May your “Rights” RIP.
When the Government’s Boot is on your throat, weather it is a LEFT Boot, RIGHT Boot, or a BLUE GESTAPO Boot is of NO Consequence! It is still the Government Boot!
The Beatings Will Continue… Until Your Compliance Improves… the Government wants good Unarmed Obedient Slaves!
Major General Smedley Butler USMC – "There are only two things we should fight for. One is the defense of our homes and the other is the Bill of Rights!
Privacy, Freedom, & Liberty for the People! Accountability & Mandatory Minimums for the Oppressive Government & their Crimes against the Citizens!.
When has the Government Passed a LAW to Protect your “Rights” or Grant you more “Privileges”? NEVER
Has anyone else noticed… every time the Government passes a Law… the People Lose their Quality of Life, Money, Privacy, Liberty, and Rights while the Ruling Masters become wealthier?
Meanwhile, back on Capitol Hill your Favorite Congressman is Squatting in submission with one thumb up his A$$ and one thumb in his mouth… waiting for the Government Party’s command to switch! What a Great Country!
I have a foxtrot Mike 45 partly thanks to your video, I’ve got a whole new level of love and need for guns now that I’m gonna be a homesteader. Stay safe y’all
I have a 13 inch hand guard on a 16inch rail. I get a lot of shadow from my light because of how much the barrel sticks out past my light. Main reason why I like 15 on a 16 in barrel
Longer hand guards allow your weapon light to be mounted closer to your muzzle. This will decrease "suppressor shadow" or "barrel shadow" and allow for more light to spill into your environment and less light to reflect off of your weapon.
How about some details on the camo job? Please.
Great video good info for those new old old to ARs.
I not new but I wish I had all this info years ago in these two series.
Come to know that your first try you wanna build a do everything ar, then you realize that you need/want a different ar for everything…lol
Kinda wish I would've went with the BCM rail and steel barrel nut, although I got one from a great company whom models theirs after the Geiselle …..
Nice camo paint job on that one ar. Did you do it yourself ? Any tips for doing it yourself.
Id love to see this concept and guide for AKs.
Great content, as usual…
Thank you 😊
Darn excellent info for me several years too late. I bought one basic model which I shot for several years then sold it to finance another one. To help someone get your info before buying I linked both video to Texas Gun Talk forum.
Great job as usual Mike! I love my DD4 RIII rail/ambi system, added Geisselle SSA-E is sweet. Always fun learning something new vs old and great content…keep up the HARD-WORK its much appreciated by ALL!
Excellent info. No offense to you sir but be careful hitching your wagon to crowder…
