Many saying they want an electronic version. I think the manual version is going to be better and faster. Its more naturally connected to the operator and able to envelope the rate of change. However, I am not stoked on the idea of changing my grip position every shot.

Opinion.. the 1x should be on the shorter reach and the stronger zoom (longer distance) should be on the longer reach for better stability (am I wrong with that idea?)
Personally i was about to spend the money on a red dot for a offset for my ar but id rather have this and i feel its a better option that using a offset
Wouldn't you want to reverse the way it works? Push to zoom, as you need more stability at range. Pulling to zoom will for sure decrease accuracy and stability.
Imagine this scope awotch integrated with the flashlight and laser range finder in a slider you would not need to buy anything else because this has it all
It seems that a specific sight is needed, which affects the grip before installation. I feel that the sight manufacturer will integrate this function into the sight, and use the electric button installed at will to control the magnification, similar to the switch of the laser sight.

Is there a way to flip the control around? Like in a sensible way? If I want to make a long distance shot, I would want my hands to be spaced out further on the rifle. Is it possible to switch around that control?

it seems the sliding mechanism also puts your support hand in the best place to support the rifle for the ranges… more support for longer range shot (hand close in), and less needed for close (hand further out).
