Good demonstration, but this will not work when you have a high profile forward assist housing. I assume one would then have to remove the hand guard in order to get the pin out to replace the dust cover.
great video bro i was just about to order a billet dust cover from strike industries but was a bit sceptic about fighting with the mil spec dust cover on mine people says its difficult but your video seems like the best way forward dude thumbs up π
Awesome technique, my handgaurd is locktited and I hafe pretty muc stripped the screws π but my dust cover spring broke. I will be doing this asap. Thank you!

An Aero M4E1 will not come off this way. The pin only goes in 1 way.
