This review was made after over 1,200 rounds were fired through the rifle. Please enjoy the video, took a while to make, I had fun making it, hope you have fun watching it. I’m trying new things and learning how to edit videos so hopefully future content is better. If you want to play a drinking game, take a sip every time I say ah or um, thank me later.

23:15 The Issues
39:48 Conclusion/Outro

PS. Had to blur out the webpage address for CMMG to stay within the Youtube guidelines… I also misspoke about the “ATF compliant” Banshees on the website. They have a pistol tube and not a receiver extension that allows for an attached brace/stock. Either way, the buffer tubes arent expensive and are easy to install. My point about the prices is still valid.
This video was put together and edited using Clipchamp, we’ll see if I use it again moving forward.

  1. I have the MK47 too. Purchased it over a year ago and shot it for the first time today. I had serious issue with spent cartridges not ejecting and not cycling rounds. I got one or two shots before it malfunctioned consistency. Took it home and cleaned it like you suggested. It still will not cycle live rounds. It feeds the first round but will not ejecting it when you rack the charging handle again. I have the version before yours. I watched the melt down video and thought the Mutant was beast, questioning my purchase now. Any suggestions? Thank you.

  2. Just bought one there a cool unique rifle but they only run reliably with magpul mags or other ak mags that are polymer kind of a letdown it can't take any type of magazine like an actual ak47. Obviously Cmmg didn't do very good research to make it take any type of mag steel or polymer.
