  1. Can ANYONE please give me their UNBIASED opinion on a micro red dot that will run on a.308 rifle. I will be using one canted next to lvpo. Thanks for taking the time to read this

  2. I think this test was a bit skewed. Two rifles had two components to make them competitive. I would have like to see this test with an offset red dot on the LPVO to level the playing field

  3. I've looked at, and through Trijicon ACOGs before, and do not understand why the reticle etchings are sooo small.

Not useful to me, and an Aimpoint T2 will do fine to 300-yards.

    1/3rd co-witness on a LEAP from Scalarworks.

Just don't get those tiny reticles…

  4. For starters, I myself don’t want to pack those heavy rifles around, not to mention the limited quantity of ammo you can pack with them. M4 in 5.56×45 if in a mobile infantry unit is by far the best setup. But like what was said below, if your in a stationary position say over watch or a similar role, then these 7.62’s are Fantastic. But if I’m humpin all day, that extra few pounds of rifle and ammo adds up to a ton! Just my opinion.

  5. For the scar 17 my favorite set up is vortex razor 1×10 in reptilillia mount with an acro p2 on front ring at the 12 o'clock position allows you to shoot passive with nods as a bonus I do have the acog/rmr and an elcan/rmr set up on other 17's nothing is perfect

  6. I've never used an ACOG but I did just purchase a P/A 3X micro prism and really like it. It would be interesting to see a comparison video between the ACOG and micro prism shooting at 100yd or less. Especially considering the huge cost difference.

  7. I don't know if it's any good yet (it's brand friggin new at the time of this comment) but the atibal 1-12 lpvo seems like a pretty good option for a full power rifle cartridge in something like a SCAR or an AR10. It has the ability to go down to 1x for up close work, but the ability to reach out to 12x for long range shots that battle rifle cartridges are certainly capable of.

  8. Clint and Tim, loving the videos, I'm definitely a (new) fan! Would love to see best Short (home defense) and Long (general purpose hunting) Optics .. on a Budget! Keep rockin' it!

  9. that might be the first time in a video where the camera actually accurately captured how loud a gun is. those 3 shot deals rocked me through the screen. at least their brake works for noise amplification.
