Can a little carbine tame 308 Winchester enough for up-close-and-personal work? This beautiful beast has a 16″ barrel and lightweight parts, but it can handle 308 close quarters drills. If you’ve been looking for a heavy hitter that anywhere from zero to 600 yards, this CMMG Resolute may be your destination. Subscribe to see the upcoming long-range videos!

  1. Great rifle. That's the first time I've seen these targets shot at. the rounds ones seem to react, a little, but the ones
on top not so much. I appreciate what they due in regards to wear and tear, but it regards to reactive targets they
kinda disappoint ! I realize you could not do what your doing now with steel targets, but the reactiveness of steel
puts these to shame. Also they are expensive !!

  2. That was enjoyable. The price is out of my range in these times of inflation with no spendable toy money. Plus the Washington DC administration wants to take your guns of mass destruction away. Some states are messing with 2A. Bolt guns are cheaper maybe not as much fun.

  3. If nothing else its a beautiful piece. Nothing wrong with looking great at the range or in the woods. I dont do much with a 308, but a 6mm or 6.5 would be cool. (for us "bandwagon" types)πŸ˜‚

  4. I built one a year or so ago on a psa upper and lower with a 16” ba barrel for a truck/hunting gun. Something I could have deer and keep in my truck without having to swap out guns for hunting season. Just to have after work without driving across town and back to hunt for a few hours. And self defense in 308 in a vehicle is a lot better than 223.

  5. I would guess that for carbine use, a 6.5 or even 6 Creedmoor chambering would be preferable, as it'd have even less recoil than the 308 (which clearly doesn't have a lot with that brake), and with the lighter bullet would get more muzzle velocity. And for your DMR leaning, it seems like the 6mm bullet is the way to go for a shorter barrel like that. Have you given that any consideration, and perhaps ruled it out already?
Nice intro video for the rig. Thanks for uploading it.
