I have to say I like watching you channel so much. Like the upper 5.7×28. You get into detail on if you will need anything else to go with the upper to make it run on my AR-15 Lower. I watched another YouTube channel guy he just went through an looked at all the things he was into. Most the things he looked at was all high $$$$$ stuff I'm not much of a fan of his channel it is

Throw a mad mount on 57 upper and run my Saker 556 on that puppy. It’s going to look and run too sexy with my Maxim Defense PDW Stock on it. 37 cents a pop for ammo will make me cut back on consuming else where though. My girlfriend won’t mind more Burger 🍔 dinner dates, right?

Hopefully the newfound love for 5.7 will lead to a new AR57-style upper. I have a weak spot for an AR with P90 mags.

Still hella expensive to us normal bubbas out here. The 16in upper receiver with 2 mags for 925$. 8 inch upper and 1 mag 775$, and the 5 inch upper with 3 mags for 800$.

I remember a few years ago a company made a upper called AR57 that uses p90 magazines and the mag well on the lower became the ejection port, I wonder why you don't see them anymore….

I could see this as a concept to have a light pdw setup that has all of the familiar controls of an ar that allows for more modularity than a p90. I like the concept, as 5-7 is not really meant to penetrate armor out of the pistol as much as it is meant to penetrate armor out of a carbine. And if the upper is a good price, that will only increase the popularity of the cmmg over the civilian leagal ps90
I've been considering getting the 5.7 banshee but this is tempting.
Other 5.7 upper uses $25 50rd mags and has convenient downward ejection.
