Pro tip – After ~300 rounds of 22lr, fire off a few .223 rounds through the barrel.
It’ll remove and prevent barrel leading
No…a slower bullet will impact higher before the crest. This is because the bullet stays in the barrel for a longer time and, under recoil, is angled higher.
Be careful shooting the ground with 22lr…you could penetrate the Earth’s core and cause tsunamis

Love the videos, keep'em rolling 👍.
Good video!
I'm a huge proponent for using the .22 caliber for training. I started out with the conversion system like you have. Then I progressed to the conversion system with a collar (removed the case shape part), and a dedicated 22 barrel. That'll get you beautiful accuracy because it has the correct twist rate. I had my dedicated 22 exactly like my business AR-15. It just takes a little bit, and all you do is build an upper and use a dedicated 22 barrel and you get a collar. And it is so much more accurate! Also the McFadden loaders are super nice! You can load a 30 round magazine size magazine in about five or six seconds using their loader. And it can be also used for other magazines with different adapters. It is definitely a good investment, and will pay for itself in just two or three visits to the range. Though with a McFadden loader you tend to shoot faster, but I'll sacrifice the slow shooting any day!
I also built a precision dedicated 22 off of BCA 16-in barrel. That's a tax driver!
I need one of those conversation kits🤘great video Bruh😎 hahahahaha Plummer blur 😂 🤣
The new mags that the kit ships with are total ass. If you got them, switch them out with S&W 22 AR mags.
If have CMMG .22 kit for a while and it is a money saving tool. I think it worth the money.
I ended up fluffing up a while back and bought the one with the 10rd mags. Popped the silver pins out and now can get i believe 27 total. Not sure if the 25rd mag has anything limiting it
That was great! I’ve thought about one of these kits but haven’t bought one. Might have to now.
