  1. let me make this easy for people all you need is a 20in ar15 with what optic works for you as many mags as you can buy with all the green tip you can afford and TRAIN WITH IT and if you asking why google what green tip does out of a 20in barrel

  2. In regard to the iron sight in front of the ACOG, it wouldn't be my preference. The rear aperture is designed to be close to the eye for proper sight picture. I would personally go with a different optic in 2023. The ACOG has served with distinction, but she's showing her age.

  3. You can buy your own Go and NoGo headspace gauges. They won't break the bank. Easy to use if you remove the extractor on the bolt before using the gauges. Only need to remember that 5.56mm barrel should use 5.56mm gauges and a .223 barrel should use .223 gauges.

  4. so… I got excited seeing an AR15 at a great price at my local store, and all I can say is, think before you buy.

since I've gotten that gun, it has given me plenty of issues. after I bought it, I instantly found that it had a commercial spec tube on it instead of mil-spec, so I had to swap that out. I also had to upgrade the stock with that for reason because that stock sucked. I had to put a different foregrip on it so that I could add accessories. I've also been fighting jamming issues, I just replaced the BCG.

if I had just bought a S&W ar, I wouldn't have had to do that. I paid $499 for the gun. $60 for the buffer tube, I know, I was ripped off, $100+ for the stock, it's a nice magpul, $30 for the first foregrip I bought, $40 for the next one, and I just dropped $150 into a new BCG. For the money I've invested, I could've just bought a S&W for <$800 new.

  5. Can u guys do a California special video, Ik that would be a lot for u cause guns hella yeah and there is a huge block on our rights here, but conceal carry is a big interest for my future as my father has his and has had me shooting since I was 4

  6. If it's your first AR get a Smith and Wesson M&P Sport 2. The reason is because their gas tube, gas block, and barrel technology is the most cost effective and advanced I've ever seen.. The barrel itself is super thick and heavy. It's basically a Colt M-4 SOCOM barrel but better because it doesn't have the useless grenade launcher cut outs.
Rifle twist rates for even the above average shooter are meaningless in my experience. So the 1:9 twist should last you a lifetime and be plenty. Then get a set of good iron sights, and a flashlight.
From there it depends on your lifestyle and level of leisure activity and Civil Emergency readiness as far as modifications and optics go. But never touch your trigger, barrel or gas system.. not even if you're a Gunsmith. You'll basically spend big bucks…for an eventual downgrade.
Edit: Find your nearest legit Veteran and they can teach you how to use it. So can any Range Officer or YouTube video.

  7. Kaya, I am glad to see your loosing up some and having a bit more fun and letting your personality through.

Have you thought about growing a bread to hide that "Duddly Dooright" chin?
