Great information, thanks
Sub point. I think some scones come darker lensed for more Hunter, soldier and sniper types. I always worry about glare and glints so I have lens dim film on mine for when I’m in motion.
So, 1600 for the rifle, 1200 for the chassis, and 1000 for the scope? Looks like that'll be a several year undertaking. (Deffy buying rifle first, along with a can or two of M80)
Seems like an honest video! Thank you
For an all round scope for hunting and also longer distance target shooting (800-1000 yards), what magnification range would you recommend?
came back to this and bought the Viper Gen 2, Sig Tango 4 and waiting for my XTR to arrive. I guess Nightforce is next😅

Very nice video! I’ve been researching for a long time. I have four scopes in the running, you hit two of them as your top two.
I own a number of scopes and this is a solid review. I finally bit the bullet and purchased a Nightforce NSX and it's a great scope; however, if I had to do it over again, I'd buy another Vortex PST Gen II and save the money.
A fellow photographer/shooter!
Really good review. It was down to the point with no BS. Thanks!
Interesting that while you're saying they have perfect tracking you show a Target that shows imperfect tracking
Manufacturers going the wrong way then, FFP is hopeless for hunting which most use these scopes for, whats the point of having ballistic turrets then using the reticle, also FFP might as well be fixed mag as the bottom end usually means the ret dissappears, hunters want SFP, the minority is being catered for again
You need to list them in the description
BURRIS XTR II glass is clearer than the Vortex all day long
I don’t think these are even in top 10…except nf
The sightron SIII will blow them all away.
Wish you would have included zeiss in this.also wish they made pst in non-illumination to save weight. Thank you for the low down. Buying a scope Christmas.
