I like the staglon, it's always good. Can't say that about real stag. The price of these knives makes them very appealing.

Some of those have a sharp spine that could strike a ferro rod.
Enjoyed this video. I’m old school and really like the Schrade. I have the Pro Hunter that I’ve had from the eighties obviously with the first generation stagolon. It’s really a great knife. Like you I use those stone pouches for items such as matches or lighter etc. I also like the old timer knifes, I also have a few of these from the eighties.
