I find it strange the way you put the weld nut in. Is the tab projection supposed to be upside down? I think the flat side of the weld nut is supposed to be flush with the design, flat against the screw while the projection tab is facing outwards, towards the barrel. Correct me if I’m wrong, just need help with this dilemma because 2 videos have told me the opposite things.

Magpul put too much yellow loc tite on mine and the weld nut wouldn't screw on. Had to call them to get another screw.

My hand guards came with my Ruger ar 5.56 will this install be the same or do I need to buy another set of hand guard they are magpul guards but without a heat shield.

I can't for the life of me understand why Magpul's mlok handguard for the AR doesn't allow you to install mlok rails or accessories without having to remove it competely from the barrel??? This seems like a design flaw and makes things way more complicated than it needs to be when installing lights, vertical grips, forends, etc compared to other mlok rails I have and keymod… What is the reason? Someone please explain this logic, or lack thereof….
I installed one of these to my Ar but it keeps loosening and rattling. Suggestions
