The videography could have been better, but this gives you an idea.
Things to note: At dusk, I compared the two, again. If anything the resolution and contrast gap became indistinguishable. The G45/T2 did VERY well, here. It would turn into a battle of opinions as to which edged the other out in low light. Also, as best I can tell, the G45/T2’s parallax is the same as many tests have shown a “bare” T2 to be, it’s just easier to see at 5x. The dot moves, but it moved more or less “within its own edge”, which is to say, the most radical shift I could induce by misalignment of my eye with the eyebox would push the dot about 2-2.5moa, the top edge of it being possible to shift roughly the distance to the bottom edge, or the left to right, etc. Considering the eyebox, however, if you have a good sight picture, I do not see how this would functionally matter for what a 5x optic with a 2moa “dot” is going to be used for, even to the point of shooting groups at the range.

What is the difference in weight between the two?
This is a great explanation and a wonderful visual comparison. Thank you!
Hows the knights running ?
Thank you! Great comparison
Great comparison! The nx8 is hard to beat but I haven't seen the new 5x magnifier in person and that's impressive.
