Im know about 10/22 very well. Ive learn it could be that the gas isnt enough to cycle the trigger. That would be the bolt spring. The stock one is around 5 lbs. So what im doing is trying to lessen the spring to lighten it up so that the bolt would reset the trigger. However ive just learned that the bushing may be in the way for full cycle. Between the spring and back plate(the black plastic piece) that borebuddy gives you. So i just went ahead and removed it. I put the heavy tunsken weights in. Where after i closed it and screwed it ibe notice that the weight are shakening within the casing. This would mess up if these weight shift while firing would have light primer strikes. So im looking for a o ring or something of that nature to make the weights not shift. So annyways ill update you if you comment. Ill be going out tomorrow and trying my theory.
Well went to the range today and nothing but bad news…the new springs, and polishing of the bolt and still after one shot I get a dead trigger, some rounds had light primer strikes but most did not. I clipped the firing pin spring like JayDub did, but I still have the same problem…I did get a about three 4 round bursts, but 98% of the time I got one shot and then a dead trigger. I stretched out the recoil spring so I know I had enough power to slam the bolt home, but still the exact same issue. I then set my rifle back up to 223/556 configuration and it ran beautifully…so its not the rifle or trigger it has to be the CMMG bolt, but what it is I can't figure out…At this point I have been defeated, I'm too frustrated to keep tinkering with it, because quite simply I have done everything and have everything parts wise that I need for this to run but it just won't…..maybe my CMMG bolt is just to old to work with the Rarebreed trigger or maybe my firing pin is bad…depending on how expensive a new firing pin is I might try that as a last resort. I believe you set up a 10.5" barrel like mine and it works so it can't be the rifle configuration…I'm just at a loss right now …I bought all new springs, new magazines, gen 3 borebuddy bolt weight, auto trip sear, the pressure plug and I am using high quality ammo…so I can only hope that others that are having the same issue as me find out exactly what the issue is and can help one day. But I want to thank you and JayDub for working with me and trying to assist me with this project. I'm sure if I got this rifle in your hands you could make it work!

How did you bend the tab on the cmmg sear trip to time it? I tried bending mine and snapped it in two and had to buy another one.

I feel like I have the timing down.. I just keep getting single shots only without a reset.
I came to this video and realized I don’t have the buffer plug. Ordered one and I am hoping she’ll be singing next.
Awesome videos btw.
Are the extra weights necessary? I ordered the kit from CMMG Auto Sear Trip Kit, 22ARC. Will that be enough or do I need something more?
Those sears snap really easy
Where did u get the plug?

Do you feel like a heavier spring for the cmmg would help reliability?
Adjust your timing before you go out and shoot I suggest using a feeler gauge between the bolt and breach face To adjust to
