I was bummed when I saw they’re $2,000. They’re barely a bargain compared to Sig. It takes less material than a rifle, and has a standard AR lower. They should sell them for $1,2-$1,500 max or at least offer to buy just the upper.

Of course the most expensive upgrades on it already talking about a review please start doing reviews without 3k worth of upgrades

About time CMMG modernized their designs! For the longest time, it was the highest priced outdated keymod equipped basic entry-level-looking AR platform, but now, looks like they are with the times! Competitive design, and modern style, and lighter weight DI than competitors piston operation.

Don’t know about the rattler killer part. CMMG makes awesome stuff, very quality stuff. The dissent absolutely kills the psa jackal. But in my opinion, it is a more cost effective alternative to the rattler.

I hope you do a side-by-side comparison of the CMMG Dissent, the SIG MCX, the PSA JAKL, and Brownell's BRN-180. I'd especially like to get a look at the difference between the operating systems.

cmmg brought in the sig rattler and directly reverse engineered copied it in their own way according to an employee, in no way does this thing compete with a Rattler, but cool gun, cmmg mk47 mutant is dope

Would really like to see a comparison between the jakl and dissent and get your opinion on whether or not the dissent is worth the extra money

With the way griffin has been acting I won’t be buying anymore cans or ez lock parts from them.

I got one in .300blk and I absolutely love it, that’s clearly the best caliber choice of the three offered. However personally I still prefer my MCX Rattler build in .300blk a little more tho. Simply for the way it feels and operates. Both are great pdw/close range pistol/rifles that anyone should be happy with.

I want the CMMG Banshee in 5.7 x 28!!!! But the Dissent is pretty cool too. We have a CMMG AR-15, with all new parts, but I don’t know her name…..hubby would though!
