  1. What is shameful is that FS isn’t out there fining people who leave that crap out there. They should create a program to report on those that leave lots of their junk without picking it up. Job security I guess.

  2. You know, people don't seem to do 14.5" pin and weld 308 jobs, but 12-14 would get decent velocity but less blast than 10", but a 14.5 pin and weld would still be a rifle legally, but still shorter than a device equipped 16".

Heck, when 8.6 blk comes out I think this type of platform will make so much more sense. Less blast, increased bullet mass for medium range hunting, but still better than a thumper beyond 150-400 yards, also cycles heavy subs.

  3. About the TX vs Arizona land comment, why would I wanna go to public land to play when I've got enough of my own to play on? So then what is the need for public if majority owns their land?

  4. Interesting. So 308 Win SBR 'speed and weight' figures are roughly equivalent to the "not actually inadequate" 30-30 Winchester. And , I would suppose that the 30-30 might be less loud. and the 308 SBR might be slightly more compact 'in length only'. So cool Fudd gun or rapid fire tacticool with same effect from each shot. Rate of fire might and ease of maintenance be the only real differences.

  5. I really enjoy your ammo tests. I hunt with 7.62×39. I’m having a hard time finding good ammo for deer. I found some Underwood controlled chaos. I would love to see you test it and give your opinion.

  6. The music was terrible. If you are going to riff 70’s shopping music at least play something interesting like maybe the theme to Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. After all, the montage fits the theme. Also, the battle of the beards: Orange beard hates the Springfield. You, the Brown beard apparently like it. For my part, I am considering the POF Rogue.308 pistol as I own a full-size POF .308.
