  1. What is recoil comparative to? Something like a 25-06 or 270 Win? I have a 870 rifle barreled shotgun and find the recoil for slugs more than my 30-06 and not enjoyable. Looking at this as hopefully a much reduced recoil option. Thanks.

  2. I would agree that the ejection is smoother on the newer model. I had the original version for a year before I sold it to a friend and got the newer one. I’ve shot does with each and have been happy with it. I got screwed with having to resight it in this year as the scope I was using, Vortex Crossfire II 3-9×40, got messed up somehow with the reticle becoming canted. Not thrilled about it because of the price of Accutips now. I went from paying $15-18 last summer to them now being $24.

  3. Those seem to be real good shooters. My cousin has one, and has been taking deer out at some impressive distances. Only downfall is sabot slug prices. I've seen a lot of variances in production lots and shifts on point of impacts. Pretty ridiculous, when you consider what price they are. Could cost you a few hundred dollars/time just figuring out you got a bad lot. Seen it more in Remington accutips, but its new ownership now so maybe its better QC.
