The long kak makes a difference not the comps and the extended long kaks huge difference especially on 10.5/7.5 but for indoors helps a lot and use soft points in SBRs for defense works wonders on tissue just swap coord. mags(m855etc) for πͺπ§±π»but 12.5π/11.5 the shorty sweet spot but 10.5 practically will do it 300 and in for cheap really as short as u should go but that long kak is a must π€£
And depending on where you live like a sub division community it's to much ppl don't understand they're going to shoot clean through there house and the neighbors house to. I have ar15s but prefer my ar9
What ears do you keep near by? I've noticed a problem where my ear pro slowly drains batteries while off even with brand name batteries, not the worst but the bonus to electronic ear pro vs generic is the ability to hear. (Like to the point of, I have put fresh batteries in, went to the range, spend 2-3 hours there, then have a busy month where I don't get to the range and check them before I go to the range again and they are dead.
I agree, if it's a normal home invasion situation and you have a family or pets it is way to loud. I can think of a few situations where it could be an advantage to have 5 foot fireballs and a window rattling boom, but I would say that a cracked kicking in your back door at 3am is not one of them.

I put a flash can on my 7.62 8" build. Directs the fireball and concussion at what you are shooting at. 3:10π

Very nice breakdown. I am slow glad you pointed this out. Lots of people getting 7 to 10 inch guns for home defense and skipping over 16" barrels.
