  1. It’s finally here only a few months late. Figured it would have real clear glass so I pre ordered one in July. They said it would be out by the end of August at the latest. Then it just kept getting pushed back. Until it got to November and I said I’ll get the EPS. I still would like to try one, but don’t regret the EPS. A nice big clear window was the reason I wanted the eflx. Though now I do really like enclosed optics. I’m fine with open emitters, but I don’t know if the eflx is enough to make me choose it over an EPS.

  2. I wanted 1 but bought the "elite" HE407c x2 2moa green dot for $245.
I just couldn't justify spending that much for the Eotech. Not sure what difference there is between the HS & HE to be honest.
Slapped the 407c x2 on the $199 FDE SW4 GatorMouth cut, RMR milled, threaded barrel w/ Suppressor sights complete upper on my G19X frame & she's a different baby in a great way! 🤟

  3. I wish I had a place I could go to look at all the different pistol RDS and compare them. I've stuck with holosun because due to my astigmatism, holosun seems to be the only company that's countered my issue best.

  4. Few things to note:

Wide window is basically a meme. It is the least useful dimension and hinders concealed carry too. Only applicable for some niche shooting positions.

Battery life is not great. All battery life estimates are based on a barely useable brightness. At normal daylight brightness, you are looking at sub-10k hours for the 6 MOA. This is likely because of the clear glass requiring the emitter to be run higher to get the same contrast as a notch filter. A trade off to be sure.

  5. Aaron Cowan made a post about his optic not holding zero after one handed manipulations….it's a sample size of one but I know he's pretty much the go to guy for optic testing.
