    ** Here is where my confusion was. Do not ever "click" the button when you are tapping it, including the last "hold" on the 10th click. It seems, besides the occasional "I cannot count to 10 right" issue, this is the most common user error I was running into.

    If you are having trouble with Ten Tap Programming, make sure you are not clicking the button, even on the last hold. Hold without clicking until the light goes out.

    I hope this helps if this was you as well.

  2. Thanks for quick response. I just played around a bit more with it. What happens is if I depress the button all the way (click) it will not program or switch modes. If I just touch the button (no click) I can program it and switch modes. Obviously this is a defect, which sucks because who likes waiting for replacements. ugh. Merry Christmas!

  3. Just received my ProTac today, and couldn't figure out how to program it. No instructions. Checked out your vid and understand now. However, mine is apparently defective, as it will not program per your instructions (or any other way that I know of). Looks like a return is in the future.
