  1. I got my wife the cmmg 22 kit for her ar 15..got 1 25 rd cmmg mag..and ordered a 25rd black dog..both had issues feeding..after a little r + d..i found a small piece of self adhesive felt..about 3/8 square.. applied to the front of the mag ..about 1/2 into the mag well..took up any movement..now i did it to both mags.. built by different manufacturers.. and it took right off..no failures to feed..and the mags set at the right angle of attack..trust me. My wife shoots the hell out of the thing..so i had to make it 100%..be safe

  2. Good explanation. I'm building an upper too. Beyer barrel, RTB bolt, Aero upper. I hesitate to use the mag well boonie packer device since 1) you have to file it to make it fit, 2) this is a big one, I want to be able to to go back and forth between 22 and 223. I don't want to insert/pull out the Boonie Packer too many times due to possible wear since it is metal and I want to preserve my lower. Is that clip you used plastic? The piece you added to the catch, the is Catch 22v2, right? Any concern with it wearing at the lower?
