Even cheap guns gouge your wallet
For your next AR buy a complete Lower Receiver and Complete Upper Receiver separately. Then you won't have to pay the 11% federal firearms tax. Also, get a mid-length gas system instead of a carbine length. It won't be as snappy and it will put less wear and tear on your internal parts. Good luck with your customization.
Suggestion, get a drop in handguard and a Larue tactical trigger. Romeo 5 and let it ride.

Nice, man. No biggie on accidently buying the 15rd magazine. I always buy smaller magazines so that I'm forced to practice grabbing magazines from a pouch and reloading. Anyways have fun
Got the same one. My first AR. LOVE IT. And you got it for a great price. I paid $699 during pandemic. Don’t regret it. I also have the PSA Nickel Plated BCG. Everything else is upgraded to MagPul except for an Elzetta light mount. Congrats and can’t go wrong!
