  1. I just got the Brownells Reaction Rod, similar to the one you're using at 15:09. The way you are doing it seems to be much easier than they way Brownells recommends, thanks for that!

  2. I don't know why so many people think this is a great video when parts of it were done off camera, Not having any video for the bcg really sucked, and why shoot the video if you don't have all the parts?

  3. I am getting ready to build my first ar-10. I was told i needed to make sure the headspace was good. I didnt really understand what was meant by that? I guess my question is can i get any dmps bcg and pair it with any dmps barrel and be alright or would i need to so something or have a gunsmith make sure they match up?

  4. I was digging around on some forums my first time installing a new handguard and low-profile gas block and a guy suggested using a piece of spaghetti to line up your gas block with the barrel port. Just break it off flush with the surface of the barrel, slide on your gas block and turn your barrel upside down. When it's aligned, the piece of spaghetti will fall into the block. Tighten and use a cleaning rod to break it up. Worked great and my AR cycled perfectly at the range.

  5. im new to this but im curious, if the takedown pin detent is on the bottom and not the back, then whats the point of a back plate?
update-after continuing the video I think i answered my own question, im assuming the back plate is for staking down the castle nut, correct me if im wrong

  6. Sorry, this may be redundant question. Do you have a web site that would list all parts you used or any changes you would recommend? I’d like to build an AR with my son. But need a parts list. We would like to build as high of a quality AR-10 as possible for medium to long range accuracy 200-600 yards.

  7. Just started my first rifle build ever, and I’ve done my research and I’m building an AR10 6.5 creed just like this video, would it be possible for you to make a list of every component (and what it normally comes with) to build a DPMS AR-10? I’ve already purchased aero precision stripped lower, lower parts kit minus fcg/pistol grip, and an assembled upper. Technically support at aero precision said I’d need a DPMS extension for a Wilson combat barrel. Why and what is that?
